Legislative Hearing on:
HR 977 - To amend the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976 to provide death and
disability benefits for aerial firefighters who work on a contract basis for the Forest Service or an
agency of the Department of the Interior and suffer death or disability in the line of duty, and for
other purposes.
HR 1550 - To authorize the Secretary of the Interior and the Secretary of Agriculture to make grants
to improve the commercial value of forest biomass for electric energy, useful heat, transportation
fuels, petroleum- based product substitutes, and other commercial purposes.
HR 2397 - To designate a portion of the White Salmon River as a component of the National Wild
and Scenic Rivers System.
